Water Upgrades Save is a turnkey water efficiency program for Bay Area municipal water utilities. With Water Upgrades Save, municipal water utility customers can install water and energy efficiency upgrades with little-to-no upfront cost — using a monthly utility-approved on-bill charge that is significantly lower than the estimated savings.

Partnerships and Pilots
Water Upgrades Save was successfully piloted with programs in the Town of Windsor, City of Hayward and East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD).
This vetted water- and energy-saving program is possible through a partnership with BayREN, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG).
