Charge! is now Accepting Applications for Public EV Charging Stations

Charge! is a grant program offered by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) that helps offset a portion of the cost of purchasing and installing new publicly available charging stations for electric vehicles.

An initial allocation of $5 million is available, and funding will be awarded to qualifying projects on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are highly encouraged to apply as early as possible due to the popularity of the program. Both public and private entities are eligible.
