BayREN TDS Webinar: Navigating the Inflation Reduction Act's Elective Pay Provisions
Join us for an informative webinar designed to help local governments navigate the elective pay provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Also referred to as IRA tax credits or direct pay, elective pay allows non-taxable entities, such as local governments, to recoup the value of certain clean energy tax credits as cash payments from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This webinar will provide an overview of the elective pay process, highlight best practices from local governments actively engaging in the program, and share resources to support your jurisdiction’s participation in the program. To the extent possible, the webinar will also cover what is known about the tax credits amid the evolving political landscape and highlight key considerations for local governments. Organized in partnership with the County of Santa Clara and Sonoma County Regional Climate Protection Authority (RCPA).
